EDAG will create a process planner for remanufacturing.

This application will enable engineers to reuse parts from end-of-life vehicles and other sources for the development of new parts, reducing waste and saving costs.

The planner will be generated as automated engineering workflow within a low-code platform that can be transferred or adjusted for similar or novel parts.

It will use component passports of available parts within a database to automatically match these parts or part-families for four application scenarios (two for sheet metal and composites each).
